*For those of you that are wondering what the tour was all about here is a recap: We drove and taught on the east coast classes based off my book Make it Fizz and I am sharing the journey with you.Remembering A loved One WIth A Sweet Friend   Day 22 We arrived at my friend Kirin's grandmothers old cabin in the afternoon. Her grandmother passed away few years ago. The neighbors still live there and invited us to come have dinner. The new owner of the cabin was very sweet and let Kirin go in and see it. Kirin took her time before heading over. We walked over and looked in the old cabin. It looked the same, they even had some of her grandmas stuff still in there. It had been I think 15 years or more since she has been back. I captured the moments.IMG_6789 IMG_6788 Going to the cabinIMG_6815 IMG_6812 (2) IMG_6813 (2) IMG_6815 (2) IMG_6816 IMG_6817 (2) IMG_6819 IMG_6820 (2) Poor friend was pretty emotional. She got to spend the summers here with her grandmother every year. Good memories that we got to share.IMG_6821 IMG_6822 IMG_6823 After looking at the cabin we had dinner and we celebrated Lexi's Birthday with them.IMG_6853 IMG_6863 IMG_6866 After dinner we got into the lake....none of us had our suits but we had to get in the lake. It is tradition.IMG_6858 IMG_6840 IMG_6843 IMG_6873 IMG_6877 IMG_6881 What a great time we had with them , they are so kind and sweet. I am so glad we got to share this time with Kirin. It brought up a lot of emotions about my dad being gone and Lexi's mom. We all had a moment there and I always will remember that moment. I hope Kirin you got the peace and healing you needed from our visit. Join me tomorrow and I will share Niagara Falls with you. If you have never been, I highly suggest you go and take your family or make a trip with friends to see it....Its magical. Thanks for joining me ~Holly

I still feel emotional going into my grandparents house. My dad lives there now.

Sweet way to remember a friend. I get emotional when I visit Whidbey Island and walk along the beach in my mom’s old neighborhood.
